Regulation
There is an increasing move within Europe for the development
of rules in support of improved Air Traffic Management. Much of this drive has
been brought about by the introduction, by the European Commission, of the
Single European Sky (SES). We have supported both the European Commission and
EUROCONTROL in developing rules for Air Traffic Management.
Mileridge is therefore able to provide assistance to the
development and support of regulatory approaches.
Key Benefits
- Full understanding of the Regulation Process
- Ability to support the development of regulation
- Knowledge and practical experience of developing
Regulatory Impact Assessment
Capabilities
- Notice of Proposed Rule Making
The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking provides a mechanism by
which rules may be developed following the widespread consultation of
stakeholders. Information is disseminated such that all interested parties
may provide comment on draft rules before they become binding on Contracting
Parties.
- Regulatory Impact Assessments (RIA)
An assessment of the impact of a regulation and the manner
in which it may be implemented. This includes the consideration of
implementation options ranging 'do nothing' through to a fully regulated
option.
Once the chosen implementation approach has been selected,
rules must be developed in clear and unambiguous manner such that all
affected will have the same, common, understanding of the requirements.
